Super Junior’s Heechul asks fans to refrain from throwing presents

Monday, March 7, 2011
0 comments
Through an interview with Star News on March 7th, Super Junior’s Heechul discussed his recent injury, which he received during the group’s concert in Shanghai. Heechul also gave a polite request to Super Junior’s beloved fans.
Heechul shared,
During the middle of our ‘Super Show 3‘ concert in Shanghai, I headed towards the side of the stage in order to get closer to my fans. A fan threw a present, which ended up hitting the left side of my face. Although it wasn’t a big injury, it ripped the skin under my eye.
After arriving in Korea on the 6th, SM Entertainment was able to reach a hospital (despite it being a Sunday) and got me proper treatment.
I’m not worried about my injury so much as I am about this happening again to another member. I know that it’s all because our fans love us so much, but I hope they’ll realize that if accidents like this continue to occur, we cannot show everything we’ve prepared for them on stage.”
Heechul was unable to attend the ending stage for the concert that night, and because his injury couldn’t be covered by makeup, he wasn’t able to attend the recording for MBC’s “The Night of Shining Memories” on March 8th.
He concluded, “There are fans who throw presents at the other members, but I hope they will stop that. They have to stop in order for Super Junior to present the best performance possible, and for fans to enjoy that experience.”

Big Bang reveals the traits of their ideal women

n a recent interview with DongA News, the members of Big Bang revealed the traits of their ideal women. Although each of them looked for different things, they all agreed that they were looking for a woman who understood them.
Daesung revealed, “I want a woman who likes me and is understanding of my career.  I’d like to be able to lean on her for support, and whether she’s older or younger than me, I’d like for her to be able to console me and give me strength when we’re together.” When asked to choose a physical trait, he replied, “A woman that looks beautiful when she smiles.”
Taeyang stated, “Someone who is on the same page as me. She needs to be understanding of me and the way I live my life, as well as be wise so I can learn from her. I’d like for her to stimulate me in a way that makes me want to work even harder. Ever since I was little, I’ve liked women with Western features.”
G-Dragon expressed, “It’s important that I feel comfortable around her. In the past, I used to have a detailed vision of what my ideal woman would be like; for example, ’someone with short hair and a tomboyish style’. But these days, it’s just someone who I’m comfortable with and doesn’t act fake around me.”
T.O.P revealed that he did not have a specific ideal woman, just as long as she can “match herself to him.” He elaborated, “I’d like someone realistic who can direct me to good paths; someone who I can learn from. She needs to be mannerly and respectful towards the adults.” T.O.P added that he would like to marry late as well.
Seungri concluded, “A woman with a cute phone voice and a lot of aegyo. I honestly do look a lot at physical appearance.” When asked to choose a specific girl group member that was the closest to his ideal woman, he chose After School’s UEE. ”I didn’t really notice in the past, but working with her on broadcast programs made me realize how beautiful she is. But for now, it’s not anything possible.”

Actor Won Bin, who was selected by SK Telecom to become their exclusive model, amused fans by parodying the famous ’sit-up scene’ from SBS’s “Secret Garden” in his latest CF.
Co-starring alongside “Music Bank” MC Kim Min Ji, Won Bin teases the ‘pretty health trainer’ by performing sit-ups as slowly as possible in order to enjoy the moment. Once his trainer is switched to a muscular male, however, Won Bin changes his attitude and performs sit-ups at the speed of light.
A representative commented, “Won Bin synchronized well with his castmates and captivated the scene with his smooth charisma. The filming took over 12 hours to complete and he did an enormous amount of sit-ups in that time, but since he exercises regularly, he did them without any problems.”
SK Telecom’s Park Hye Ran, department head of the brand’s strategy team, added, “Won Bin is a big figure in the Hallyu wave and is one of the representative stars of Korea. His image fits well with SK Telecom, who aims to become a leader in a new and smart generation.”
The full CF will be released on March 5th.

The concept for this photoshoot was to portray an image that was opposite to ‘Gil Ra Im‘. Ha Ji Won herself wanted to be styled as an actress, and not as a stuntwoman; she definitely succeeded in doing so by wearing ultra-feminine high fashion clothing.
For this photoshoot, the actress completely changed her makeup, hairstyle, and clothes – thus transforming an edgy, yet elegant woman.
Although Ha Ji Won has finished filming “Secret Garden”, she’s still juggling a very busy schedule. Despite it all, it’s said that she kept a constant smile on her face and cheered the staff on set.
The photoshoot took place in L.A., but many fans were still able to recognize her, confirming the global popularity of “Secret Garden”.
